| Luis Bouza García Coordinator OpenEUdebate Luis Bouza García is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He has also held research and teaching positions at the College of Europe, University of East Anglia, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Universidad de Salamanca.
He was a member of the Reclaiming Liberal Democracy in the Post-Truth Era Horizon Europe Project and has been involved in different Jean Monnet activities, such as the OpenEUdebate network (UAM), the PATRAPO project (Fulda Technical University), the EUCOPOL module and the FUTEDISPAN chair (both Universidad Carlos III Madrid)
His main field of interest is the role of political actors in the emergence and circulation of debates in the European public sphere. He is currently working on the EU's regulatory response to the rise of disinformation. He is the author of Participatory Democracy Civil Society in the EU: Agenda-Setting and Institutionalisation (Palgrave Macmillan).
